The Director of Human Resources is Leticia Chico. The mission of the Human Resources Department is to support the institution in all projects and policies related to talent acquisition, as well as the development, planning, and organization of people, while promoting equal opportunities and work-life balance for all its members.
The Human Resources Department works closely with the institution's different stakeholders to provide workforce planning, ensure compliance with applicable regulations, and manage recruitment and hiring processes, compensation, and staff indicators, among other responsibilities.
In this regard, the services provided by the Human Resources Department include:
- Personnel Administration and Labour Relations: we offer advisory services, regulatory compliance monitoring, recruitment procedures, payroll management, preparation of the annual budget, certifications, grant justifications, working calendar management and implementation, among others.
- Onboarding, Integration, and Offboarding Procedures: we design recruitment policies and provide personalized support to assist new staff members with all matters related to their incorporation into the institution, social integration, and the termination of employment relationships.
- Training and Talent Development: we design training and talent development policies. We prepare job descriptions, ensure compliance with applicable regulations, design training plans based on identified needs, and implement these plans. We provide personalized career development guidance to staff. We develop and monitor the Gender Equality and LGTBI Plan. We also manage the European Commission's Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R).
- Occupational Health and Safety: through Occupational Health and Safety, we organize activities and measures aimed at preventing or reducing work-related health risks and promoting the health of our staff, fostering an environment that supports well-being and mental health. Our main responsibilities include prevention and health surveillance.
