Description:

The selected person will join the GPCR Drug Discovery research group (Biomedical informatics research program).

Task:

Perform ultra-large-scale virtual screening against GPCR conformational ensembles. Generate, select, and analyze relevant GPCR conformations for structure-based screening. Set up and run molecular docking workflows for large compound libraries. Analyze protein–ligand interactions and prioritize compounds for experimental testing. Process, organize, and interpret large computational datasets. Contribute to the optimization and automation of computational screening pipelines. Collaborate with computational and experimental researchers on hit selection and project progression.

Formation:

Degree in Molecular Biology

Experience:

Experience in molecular modeling, molecular docking, virtual screening, or structure-based drug design. Experience working with protein structures, preferably GPCRs Familiarity with large-scale computational workflows and compound-library preparation. Experience analyzing docking poses, binding interactions, and molecular descriptors. Experience with scripting and workflow automation, preferably using Python or similar tools. Experience with molecular dynamics simulations or conformational analysis is considered an advantage.

Knowledge:

Good understanding of protein structure, ligand binding, and molecular recognition. Knowledge of computational drug discovery and structure-based virtual screening methods. Knowledge of programming or scripting for scientific applications Excellent level in both spoken and written English.
