Project title:

Phase IIa clinical trial of an innovative therapy for Fragile X Syndrome patients (CPP2022-009659)

Description:

The selected person will join the Integrative pharmacology and systems neuroscience research group (Neurosciences research program).

Task:

Provide support for the monitoring of volunteer participants in the clinical study "Phase IIa Clinical Trial of an Innovative Therapy for Patients with Fragile X Syndrome," including the logistical management of visits, preparation of materials, and organization of schedules.

Formation:

Degree in the field of Health Sciences (Human Nutrition and Dietetics, Nursing, Psychology, Pharmacy, Biology, Biomedicine, or related degrees). Postgraduate or master’s training related to the clinical field will be valued.

Experience:

Experience in clinical research studies, preferably in clinical trials with the participation of volunteers or patients. Experience in managing and monitoring participants in research projects (coordinating visits, contacting participants, supporting recruitment, and longitudinal follow-up). -Experience in the logistical management of clinical studies, including organizing schedules, preparing study materials, and supporting the research team. -Experience in data entry and management for research (CRD/eCRF or study databases). -Previous experience in health intervention projects or clinical trials and knowledge of clinical research procedures will be positively evaluated.

Knowledge:

Knowledge of common office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and clinical management tools (SAP, Citrix, PCN or similar). -Knowledge of clinical research procedures and protocols, including visit management, participant follow-up, and study data entry. -Experience in managing databases or study platforms (CRD/eCRF). -Good command of Catalan and Spanish; knowledge of scientific English will be valued.

It will be especially valued: -Ability to organize and plan. -Autonomy in task management and monitoring of studies. -Ability to work in multidisciplinary clinical research teams. The cost of hiring is subsidized by the State Agency for Research.
