Transfer Technician in the Impact Department

Description:

The selected person will join the Translation (Management program).

Task:

• Operational support in monitoring technology transfer and translation projects. • Organization, filing, and updating of documentation related to projects, patents, meetings, and calls for proposals. • Preparation of documentation and support materials for departmental meetings, workshops, and activities. • Support in monitoring intellectual property processes, including document management and deadline tracking. • Research, compilation, and systematization of information on companies, technologies, markets, and collaboration opportunities. • Support in identifying funding opportunities and assistance in reviewing proposals for competitive grants. • Maintenance and updating of databases, records, and internal monitoring tools. • Support for communication and coordination with research groups, corporate services, and other units within the institution. • Preparation of lists, reports, and monitoring charts to support departmental activities. • Participation in monitoring meetings and cross-functional support for the activities of different areas. • Occasional collaboration with the Quality & Data Intelligence, Business Development, and Scientific & Social Outreach departments.

Formation:

University degree in Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences, or related fields. Additional training in the following will be valued: - Technology transfer - Project management - Intellectual property - Entrepreneurship or valorization

Experience:

Previous experience will be valued in: - Technology transfer offices (OTRI/TTO) - Research centers, hospitals, or universities - Management of R&D+i projects - Administrative or technical support in scientific environments

Knowledge:

Languages -Catalan and Spanish: high level in oral and written skills. -English: minimum B2 level (especially in understanding and writing scientific and technical documentation). Computer Skills -Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). -Ability to work with databases and tracking tools. Experience with the following will be valued: -CRMs or ERPs (Odoo or similar) -Document management systems -Platforms for calls and projects Other Knowledge -Basic knowledge of biomedical research and the health innovation ecosystem. -Basic understanding of intellectual property concepts, patents, and technology transfer. -Organizational skills, deadline tracking, and cross-functional work.
