Project title:

Identification of selection and response biomarkers in patients with metastatic colorectal cancer treated with OMTX705 and combinations with Regorafenib AND (CPP2024-011270)

Description:

The selected person will join the Translational research in tumor microenvironment (Cancer research program).

Task:

Completion of the doctoral thesis. Analysis of transcriptomics, genomics, and bioinformatics; processing of patient samples; cell culture; histology techniques; immunohistochemistry; molecular biology techniques; laboratory management, purchasing, and suppliers.

Formation:

Degree in Biotechnology and master's in Translational Medicine.

Experience:

Essential experience in the tasks described above. It is essential to have been part of a translational research group. Experience in the study of human samples and CAFs is also required.

Knowledge:

Knowledge of laboratory techniques: cell culture, Western Blot and immunocytochemistry, PCR, extensive experience in flow cytometry, molecular biology techniques and other techniques to study in vivo and in vitro cancer immunology, immunological techniques, cell cultures, microscopy, molecular biology techniques. Fluent level of English and computer skills at the user level of Office and internet are required.

Autonomy in experimental design and result interpretation will be positively evaluated for carrying out a scientific project. It is essential to attach the doctoral enrollment or the letter of admission to the doctoral program.This subsidy may be co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund, 'One way of making Europe'.
