It has been working for decades in the field of cardiovascular epidemiology and personalized medicine, with its own well-characterized cohort of the general population.
The group also coordinates the CORDELIA project (www.cordeliaproject.net), which integrates data from over 200,000 individuals from 35 Spanish cohorts. Some of these cohorts include detailed omics information (genomic, epigenetic, proteomic, metabolomic), clinical data, information on drugs, and lifestyle.
REGICOR promotes a collaborative work environment committed to equal opportunities, scientific innovation, and the transfer of knowledge to society. This subsidy may be co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund, 'One way of making Europe'.
