Project title:

PseudoNOVA2 Study. Design of optimized antimicrobial treatment guidelines for respiratory infections caused by Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Observational, microbiological and pharmacodynamic clinical study using the in vitro hollow fiber model (PI22/00011)

Infectious pathology and antimicrobials research group

Description:

The selected person will join the Infectious pathology and antimicrobials research group (Translational Clinical Research Program).

Task:

Culture management, identification of microorganisms, molecular epidemiology studies and analysis of antimicrobial resistance mechanisms. Experimental models: Design and execution of lethality curve studies, experiments in Hollow-Fiber systems and validation of antimicrobial levels. Pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics: Obtaining, analysis and interpretation of pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic parameters to evaluate the efficacy of antimicrobial agents. Management and scientific communication: Analysis of experimental data, reporting and publication of results in scientific journals.

Formation:

Degree in Microbiology or similar.

Experience:

Previous experience in translational research, competence in advanced microbiological techniques and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams will be an asset.

Knowledge:

Advanced level of English.
