17504 - Hyperspecific Patient Selection Based on EGFR Ligands in Neoadjuvant Therapy: Transforming Treatment Strategies for Localized Colon Cancer through the FOxTROT8 Clinical Trial

Description:
The selected person will join the Colorectal cancer precision medicine research group (Cancer research program).
Task:
Data analysis and management - Perform bioinformatics and biostatistical analysis of clinical endpoints (efficacy), as well as genomic, transcriptomic and other omics data. - Integrate multi-omics and clinical data to identify relevant molecular patterns in colorectal cancer. - Ensure quality control, standardization and preprocessing of data following best practices. - Manage and maintain datasets, databases and analysis pipelines following FAIR principles. Method development and implementation - Develop, optimize and document reproducible workflows for data processing and analysis. - Apply and adapt existing bioinformatics tools or statistical models to clinical and translational research. - Contribute to the implementation of computational pipelines in R, Python or other relevant environments. Collaboration and communication - Work closely with oncologists, pathologists, molecular biologists and data scientists in a multidisciplinary team. - Support the interpretation of molecular and clinical results together with clinical investigators. - Contribute to scientific reports, publications and presentations of results. Research Support - Participate in the design and statistical planning of clinical and translational studies. - Support the collection, curation and integration of data from institutional and public repositories. - Assist in the preparation of funding applications and progress reports by providing data analysis and summaries. Quality and Compliance - Comply with ethical and data protection standards (GDPR and institutional policies). - Maintain documentation of analyses to ensure reproducibility and transparency.
Formation:
Degree in Biomedical Sciences, Master's Degree in Technology and Management of Biopharmaceutical Companies would be an asset.
Experience:
Previous experience in bioinformatics and biostatistical analysis (essential requirement). Previous experience in clinical trials in oncology will be a plus.
Knowledge:
Fluency in English (spoken and written) and good level of local languages. Strong interest in oncology and clinical or translational research. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Proactive, detail-oriented and adaptable profile, with the ability to manage changing priorities and tight deadlines.
Additional information:
Hybrid work model, combining face-to-face (HMar - HMRIB) and teleworking. It is essential to have published articles in international indexed journals.
