Project title:

Improving cognitive performance in Down syndrome patients (899986)

Research group / Service:

Integrative pharmacology and systems neuroscience research group

Description:

The selected person will join the Integrative pharmacology and systems neuroscience research group (Neurosciences research program).

Task:

The selected person will join the research team to support cognitive assessment and participant monitoring activities within the research project. Their duties will include managing participant recruitment and the cognitive and functional assessment process of people with intellectual disabilities, following established protocols in accordance with Good Clinical Practices (GCP). Their responsibilities will include administering, correcting and interpreting neuropsychological tests, managing data, and collaborating in the analysis and exploitation of results. They will also participate in the preparation of study materials, documentation and reports, as well as coordinating with other members of the clinical and research team.

Formation:

Degree in Psychology. Holding a Master's degree in Clinical Neuropsychology (or equivalent official training) would be an asset.

Experience:

Minimum experience of 2 years assessing cognitive function, ideally in similar populations.

Knowledge:

Domini de bateries i proves neuropsicològiques estàndard. Capacitat per dissenyar i conduir sessions grupals i individuals d'estimulació i entrenament cognitiu. Català, castellà i anglès (nivell B2 oral i escrit com a mínim).
