Study of the mechanisms of fetal conversion to cancer: Functional implications and clinical impact (PRYGN246819ESPI)

Description:

The selected person will join the Molecular mechanisms of cancer and stemness research group (Cancer research program).

Task:

Experimental work, analysis of results and writing of scientific articles. Perform in vitro cell culture and molecular biology experiments. Maintenance of cell lines and viability assays, western blot, qRT-PCR, flow cytometry, microscopy. He will also perform experiments with more complex models (tissue culture, 3D, organoids, cell co-cultures...). It will process human samples (tumor samples from participants, blood,...). Perform and support in vivo experiments. Support group members in the performance of experiments.

Formation:

PhD in the area of Health Sciences. It is essential to have the training course for research personnel using experimental animals.

Experience:

Previous experience in the tasks described above is required. It is essential to have worked in a translational research group in oncology.

Knowledge:

Essential to have knowledge in: Translational research, cell cultures, Western blot, qRT-PCR, microscopy, flow cytometry, experiments with animal models of cancer, 3D culture models, data analysis with Image J, QuantityOne, FlowJo, CyteK. Experience in in vivo studies is also essential. Fluency in English and computer skills at Office and internet user level are required.

Additional information:

It is essential to have published articles in international indexed journals. Demonstrated ability to work in research teams, mainly in translational research projects in oncology, will be valued. Experience in the use of Quantity one 1-D Analysis software, Calculsyn, GraphPad and SPSS is essential.
