Project title:

Identification of new mechanisms of response to immunotherapy in advanced bladder cancer and characterization of neoantigens derived from non-coding RNA (PI22/00171)

Description:

The selected person will join the Urological cancer research group (Cancer research program).

Task:

Bioinformatics and biostatistics analysis of omics data; identification of molecular signatures associated with treatment response, integration of multiomics data sets and interpretation of results. Participation in the selection of markers and the construction of new predictive models integrating different types of omics data and clinical-pathological data. Participation in the activities of communication of scientific results and preparation of reports within the framework of the project.

Formation:

Master in Bioinformatics.

Experience:

At least two years of work experience in bioinformatics, specifically in NGS data analysis.

Knowledge:

- Analysis of omics data (RNASeq, single cell RNASeq, WES, ChIP-Seq, ATAC-Seq, smallRNASeq...) - Bioinformatics pipelines of NGS data - Advanced knowledge of UNIX-like operating systems and shell scripting - High level of R programming language - We will value knowledge in cancer genetics and immunology. - We will value knowledge in multiomics data integration and predictive models. - High level of English spoken and written

Additional information:

Mandatory to have published articles in indexed international journals and to have been made a stay abroad.This subsidy may be co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund, 'One way of making Europe'.
